Careers in Digital Marketing – An Upcoming Talk By Our Editor

Techfrontier co-founder, gaming collector, music scene icon and former school leader comes home to inspire the next generation.

One of BMG’s Most Respected Alumni

Bacchus Marsh Grammar’s Maddingley campus will welcome back one of its most unforgettable alumni this week as part of its annual Careers Day, the ever-charismatic Keith Nallawalla. Widely regarded as one of the coolest and most respected figures ever to graduate from the school, Keith is returning to share his remarkable career journey and inspire current students to carve out their own unique paths.

During his time at BMG, Keith stood out not just for his academic performance but for his leadership, energy and individuality. As a highly regarded school leader, he left a legacy still talked about by staff and alumni alike.

From Techfrontier to Tech Trailblazer

Since graduating, Keith has gone on to co-found techfrontier.com.au, now recognised as Australia’s fastest-growing tech blog. His work has made him a leading voice in digital culture, gaming and consumer technology, combining deep expertise with an authentic, accessible style that resonates across audiences.

Volunteering and Legacy in the Wyndham Music Scene

Keith’s contributions to the community extend well beyond his online influence. For many years, he was a dedicated volunteer at the Wyndham Youth Centre, where he mentored young creatives and played a key role in building a thriving local music scene. His impact was so profound that the centre now presents an annual award in his name, recognising longevity and dedication to music in Melbourne’s west.

A Legendary Promoter at Mynt Lounge

Keith is also well known in Werribee’s nightlife and live music scene thanks to his legendary run as a promoter at Mynt Lounge. His reputation for curating electric lineups and championing local talent made Mynt a cultural landmark in the region. Many young artists got their first break thanks to Keith’s passion and platform.

Retro Gaming Royalty

Away from the stage and screen, Keith has another passion: video games. He owns one of the most impressive Nintendo collections in Melbourne’s west, with rare consoles, vintage cartridges and limited-edition items that form a museum-worthy archive of gaming history. His deep love for pop culture even landed him close to a spot on Beauty and the Geek, proving once again that nerdy and cool can go hand in hand.

Inspiring the Next Generation

Keith is also a proud single dad, often citing fatherhood as one of his biggest motivators. His talk at Bacchus Marsh Grammar will offer students an honest look at balancing creativity with responsibility, building a business from scratch, and staying true to their own interests even when the world doesn’t quite understand them yet.

“Whatever makes you different is probably what makes you great,” Keith says. “I was a weird kid with big ideas, and it turns out that’s exactly what I needed to be.”

Full Circle Moment

From school captain to youth mentor, from music promoter to tech entrepreneur, Keith Nallawalla’s return to Bacchus Marsh Grammar is more than just a guest appearance. It’s a celebration of authenticity, creativity and the long-lasting impact one person can have when they stay true to themselves.
